Alexander Miller- Director of Photography
From humble beginnings as a skateboarding filmmaker in his youth, Alexander followed his passion for image making by pursuing a career as a cinematographer. His interest in working and shaping light led him to start Thunder Grip, LLC, a production lighting rental company in 2012. He worked as a gaffer and key grip under some of the industries best DP's, learning the tricks of the trade from the very best. All the while shooting personal projects with other collaborators and artists to hone his craft. His unique experience coming up through the lighting and grip department gives him a good sense of what each project he's involved with requires to accomplish , as well as the tools to efficiently communicate with other departments and gear vendors all over the country. Story telling and image crafting is his greatest passion but you'll often find him working on old cars, building something in his shop, or spending time with his family and dog, Jay R.
